About Johnny Branham
Johnny Branham was born and raised in Tampa Florida by parents John and Delphine Branham. Johnny is the youngest of three children.
Mr. Branham graduated from Leto Comprehensive High School and afterwards entered the United States Army where he served as an Automated Logistical Specialist. Shortly after returning home from the military, he made a poor life-altering decision that led to his incarceration. He spent 14 and a half years in the Florida Department of Corrections where he took the opportunity to allow Christ Jesus to transform his life.
His testimony is that he became active in both the Faith and Character Based programs under the supervision of the Horizon program. He was a worship leader on the praise team and a leader in the Horizon dormitory where he taught several classes and mentored other men looking to change their lives for Christ.
He later enrolled in college by correspondence and earned his paralegal diploma. He worked as a Certified Law Clerk in the Law Library. While incarcerated, Johnny wrote his first book; My Evil Twin: Understanding the War Between Flesh and Spirit. Even in prison, God showed him mercy, grace, and favor.
After incarceration, he spoke before the Florida State Senate as a guest on behalf of the incarcerated to advocate for funding for re-entry programs. Although Johnny made some crazy decisions that landed him in prison, we all have a record when it comes to the foot of the cross!
Mr. Branham is a graduate of Southeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in Religion with a concentration in Biblical and Theological Studies. His hobbies include teaching the Word of God, writing poetry, songwriting, and authoring. He enjoys utilizing his gifts and talents to uplift and encourage people everywhere.
